In an interview with Channels Television, Presidential spokesman Femi Adesina, indirectly confirmed that President Muhammadu Buhari, had gone to receive medical treatment outside the country. According to him , the President had done this in order to have continuity with doctors who have treated him over the years. This was inspite the N 3billion budgeted for the State House clinic in the 2017 budget.
Adesina also stated that the president was aware of the economic difficulties being faced by many Nigerians in the country. He was optimistic that things would begin to take a positive shape before the end of the year.
