The National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) has revealed that only 19.4% of households in Nigeria use Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) for domestic, agricultural, commercial, cultural, or religious purposes.
Nigerian households are expected to spend more of their December income on food items such as rice, bread, yam, vegetables, and tomatoes as food inflation hits 32.84%.
Many households have had to take out loans to meet their pressing financial obligations due to the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.
According to the survey, loans taken since mid-March have been predominately informal in nature.
