Mr. Sesi Whingah, the lawmaker representing Badagry Constituency in the House of Representatives, has stated that the federal government will soon reopen  Nigeria’s land borders for commercial and trade activities. 
The FG has approved the reopening of four additional land borders shut in August 2019 as efforts to curtail smuggling and boost local food production.
President Buhari has ordered the immediate reopening of four Nigerian land borders.
The FG has disclosed that the nation's land borders could be reopened soon, after being closed for over a year.
