The Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Mr. Festus Keyamo, has announced his approval for Air Peace to operate the Abuja-London route, expanding the airline's existing service beyond the Lagos-London route.
Air Peace has announced the introduction of expanded route options for its recently launched Lagos-London service.
Passengers traveling from Abuja, Asaba, Benin, Enugu, Owerri, Warri, and Port Harcourt now have the option to connect through Lagos for onward flights to London.
Allen Onyema, the CEO of Air Peace, has disclosed that since the airline began its direct flights from Lagos to London a few weeks ago, Gatwick Airport has deliberately frustrated its operations, aiming to impede its activities in the UK recently.
The CEO of Air Peace, Allen Onyema, stated that the significant reduction in international airfare by foreign airlines operating the Nigeria-UK route following Air Peace's inaugural flight from Lagos to London a few weeks ago, is an attempt to prematurely remove Air Peace from the route.
