Former Anambra State Governor Peter Obi has criticised President Bola Tinubu’s administration over N7.7 trillion in debt interest payments in the first half of 2026, arguing that improvements in economic indicators have not translated into better living conditions for Nigerians.
The Federation Account Allocation Committee (FAAC) has announced the distribution of N1.123 trillion to various levels of government for March 2024 from various revenue sources, including statutory allocations, value added tax (VAT), and electronic money transfer levies (EMTL).
