CHOLERA OUTBREAK

The UN Children’s Fund (UNICEF) has launched an urgent appeal for $20 million to be raised within the next three months to fight the growing cholera crisis in Nigeria and other parts of West and Central Africa.  
A cholera outbreak in Niger State has claimed at least 12 lives and left more than 230 others hospitalized across several Local Government Areas (LGAs).
