Software giant, Andela has announced the appointment of Omowale David-Ashiru as its Nigeria country director.
With this new appointment, Omowale is expected to lead Andela Nigeria team by ensuring that the organisation continues to advance its objectives of developing Africa’s future technology leaders.

Profile of the new Country Director
Omowale is a 1998 First Class graduate of Economics from the University of Ibadan.
Omowale comes with almost two decades in management consulting and entrepreneurship. She spent 11 years at Accenture, growing to become a seasoned management consultant and certified project manager.
She was also a Director at Strictly Babies Limited.
Interestingly two of Andela’s country operations are currently run by women.

Following her appointment, the profile page of the company’s website has been updated to reflect the change as Seni Sulyman, the former country director, is now being designated as the VP, Global Operations. In this new role, he will oversee Andela’s talent recruitment and development, service delivery and African operations across Lagos, Nairobi, and Kampala, driving key decisions and initiatives that affect Andela’s 900+ employees.
