Nairametrics to hold 2022 Economic Outlook

Nairametrics is pleased to announce its 2022 Economic Outlook, titled, “Your Money, The Economy and Government Policies.”

The event is scheduled to hold this Saturday, January 29th, at 11:00 am prompt as a zoom webinar.

What you need to know: The Nairametrics 2022 Economic Outlook is organized to enlighten stakeholders, business owners and Nigerian consumers alike on what the year holds as well as the expectations with regards to government reforms and policies and its resulting effect on Individual consumers in the year.

The webinar will have in attendance key speakers and professionals in a panel session across the financial space to discuss the Nigerian economy and expectations for 2022. Discussions will be centred on salient economic policies, events, opportunities, and likely impacts on the different sectors of the economy.

The panel session will be moderated by Ugochukwu “Ugodre” Obi-Chukwu, Founder of Nairametrics Financial Advocates Limited.

Meet our panelists;

Adetoun Dosunmu is the Head, Fixed Income, Currencies and Treasury, FBNQuest Merchant Bank. She is also and Non-Executive Director, FBNQuest Asset Management. She has a successful nineteen-year career and experienced skills in a range of treasury capabilities, including Fixed Income Securities, Assets & Liability Management, Foreign Currency Trading and Derivatives.

Andrew Nevin is the Chief Economist and FS Leader at PwC West Africa. He leads the FS Practice across Nigeria, Ghana, Liberia and Sierra Leone. Serves numerous blue-chip African and international companies in Nigeria and throughout Sub-Saharan Africa across both Consulting and Deals. In his role of Chief Economist, he is a frequent speaker on economic matters, including regular appearances on CNBC Africa, Channels, and TVC.

He is also the Founding Director of the Africa Institute for Leadership and Public Administration, a professional training institution whose mission is to provide skills enhancement to managers, policymakers, and leaders within the context of African society with the ultimate goal of raising the standards of performance throughout the African continent.

Liborous Oshoma is the Head Attorney at the Liborous Oshoma Chambers. He also serves as the Group Company Secretary for Roda Commercial Ventures Limited.

He is a public affairs analyst with a passion for advocacy, discussions around constitutional matters, policy, politics, socio-economic issues, human rights and developments in the legal system.

He possesses skills in Legal Research, Corporate Law and Litigation, Employment Law, Intellectual Property amongst others.

Olufemi is an Associate Director in the Tax, Regulatory and People Services Division of KPMG Nigeria. He has over 13 years of experience, providing tax, financial and regulatory solutions to companies in the energy and natural resources sector (i.e., oil and gas, mining and power). His clients include local and multinational companies operating in Nigeria.

Some of his specializations include: targeted due diligence, contract reviews and structuring, regulatory dispute resolution, cross-border tax and regulatory advisory, finance function process reviews, tax advocacy, cost optimization strategies, provision of financial and regulatory support to start-up companies.

Feyi Fawehinmi is an Accountant, specifically an IFRS 17 Reporting and Consolidation Manager who has worked in the UK’s financial services for the past 10 years. Feyi has been writing publicly for over a decade on his popular personal blog and in traditional media outlets in Nigeria, Britain and the US.
