US President, Trump, has asserted that the move to remove him from office is “absolutely ridiculous“.
Trump stated this as he boarded Marine One at White House for a trip to Texas. He also added that the impeachment move is causing ”tremendous anger”.

The President has been a subject of criticisms following recent post-election events, especially the drama at Capitol, in which four people were confirmed dead.
It was reported that Trump’s supporters planned the attempted storming of the US Capitol building.

- Nairametrics reported on the 7th of January that, following the Capitol incident, Trump’s Twitter and Facebook accounts were suspended temporarily, with Trump’s Twitter account said to have been blocked permanently thereafter, according to the company.
- Nairametrics reported earlier today that German banking giant, Deutsch Bank, announced that it will cut ties with President Donald Trump following the invasion of the Capitol building.
- The report by Nairametrics also noted that another lender, Signature Bank, said it also closed accounts held by Trump valued at $5.3 million, in a report released by Bloomberg on Tuesday.
