What it means: The Minister’s words could mean that the immediate past MD, Mohammed, has not met with the expectation of the government, which is to improve the transmission of electricity in the country without biased or ill feelings. While other stakeholders in the power sector, especially the Distribution Companies (DisCos) are waiting to hear from the new management in order to know whether the sector is out of woods or not, all hands are on deck.
Meanwhile, Nairametrics had reported on Tuesday that Mamman sacked Mohammed, and replaced him with Sule Abdulaziz, in an acting capacity. This was disclosed in a statement issued by the Special Adviser Media & Communications to the Minister, Aaron Artimas on Tuesday and seen by Nairametrics.
