Top Gainers: John Holt Plc was the best-performing stock today. The stock gained 10% to close at N1.43. Continental Reinsurance Plc also gained 10% to close at N0.55. Cornerstone Insurance Plc gained 10% to close at N0.55. Unity Bank Plc gained 8.33% to close at N0.65. Forte Oil Plc rounded off the top five gainers for today. The stock gained 5.48% to close at N15.40.
Top Losers: On the flip side, Honeywell Flour Mill Plc was the worst-performing stock, declining by 7.41% to close at N1. PZ Cussons Plc fell by 5.60% to close at N5.90. Access Bank Plc fell by 5.15% to close at N6.45. Fidelity Bank Plc fell by 4.73% to close at N1.61. Chams Plc rounded off the top five losers for the day. The stock shed 3.45% to close at N0.28.

Top Trades by Volume: Transnational Corp of Nigeria Plc was the most actively-traded stock today. 39 million shares valued at N41.7 million were traded in 80 deals. MTN Nigeria Plc was next with 15.2 million shares valued at N2.1 billion traded in 144 deals, followed by Lafarge Africa Plc with 10.4 million shares valued at N147.7 million traded in 40 deals.
