Oh that’s an improvement from lprevious year’s 10kobo dividend. By and large my FBHN purchase in 2014 was a bad decision. The stock has lost it’s glory with the Hold on structure baggage. Doesn’t seem like there’s gonna be any significant improvement in years to come. Hopefully, one can pull out with out losses in the near future.

Any plans for dividend payouts? It took them quite some time to announce results. Well done FBNH.

FBHN has a strategic objective to write off it’s impaired assets which is around 358b as at 2018 year end, this write off began some 3years ago when the toxic asset stood at abt 500b. Looking into it’s 2018 report, FBN wrote off abt 83b as impaired losses. Ploughing back this, it implies the that bank made abt 142.7b as PAT in real terms. Most of the banks reporting tripple digits PAT have little or zero impaired Losses write off on their income statement for the year. This move by FBHN is centered on the quality of assets carried by the bank which will in the long run improve the value of shareholders wealth in the capital market. In the end, MPS will improve n DPS will become competitive. I implore shareholders to hold on. He that laughs last laughs best.
