Transnational Corporation of Nigeria Plc (Transcorp) has released its financial results for the period ended 30th September 2018.

Here are the key highlights of the results:

Revenue

Revenue for the company increased from ₦57 billion in 2017 to ₦80 billion. This represents a 40.7% increase year on year.

Profit Before Tax

Profit Before Tax increased from ₦9 billion in 2017 to ₦18 billion. This represents a 95.9% increase year on year.

Profit After Tax

Profit after tax also increased from ₦8 billion in 2017 to ₦16 billion. This represents a 95% increase year on year.

Earnings Per Share

The earnings per share also increased from ₦8.06 in 2017 to ₦17.37 in 2018. This represents a 46.4% increase year on year.

Current Share Price

Transcorp Plc is currently trading at ₦1.35 in today’s trading session on the floor of the Nigerian Stock Exchange.

    The EPS is not up to N1. It is 17.37 Kobo, and not N17.37k (1,737 Kobo). Cross check one more time.
