In a bid to grow deposit and promote savings, United Bank for Africa Plc (UBA) has launched a new savings promo called ‘UBA Wise Savers Promo’.
Under the promo, no fewer than 80 people will get a whooping N1.5 million each across all participating regions.
How to qualify for the promo
Participation is open to both existing and new customers of the bank.
To qualify for the Wise Savers Promo, new and existing customers of the bank are to make a monthly deposit of N10,000 into their UBA savings account for 3 consecutive months before each draw date, or make a one-time deposit of at least N30,000, saved for 90 days before each draw date. 20 lucky customers will win N1.5 million each in the promo every quarter.
Draws will take place every quarter until 80 customers win up to N120 million in the savings promo.
The bank, according to its Head of Retail Liabilities, Tomiwa Sotiloye, is committed to rewarding its customers with innovations that bring them comfortability.
The bank recently started a new website to ensure flexibility in its banking services. The new website features phrase and image security which is designed to increase secure user login. The features require that users set up a onetime Phrase and Image which will be displayed every time on their password screen.
Also, UBA released its financial results for the period ended June 2018 recently. Its interest income increased from N154.9 billion in 2017 to N187 billion in 2018. Profit before tax increased slightly from N57.5 billion in 2017 to N58.1 billion in 2018. Profit after tax increased from N42.3 billion in 2017 to N43.7 billion in 2018.
UBA Plc closed at N8.05 in during yesterday’s trading session on the floor of the Nigerian Stock Exchange.
