The following companies will be paying dividends and holding their AGM’s this week

The following companies will be paying a dividend/ holding their Annual General Meeting (AGM) this week.

StanbicIbtc

StanbicIbtc will be paying a dividend of 60 kobo per share, on the 27th of September 2017. Results for the half year ended June 2017 show gross earnings increased from N71 billion in 2017 to N97 billion in 2017. Profit before tax increased from N15.6 billion in 2016 to N29.1 billion in 2017. First Registrars Limited is the bank’s registrar.

Skye Shelter Fund

Skye Shelter Fund will be paying a dividend of 700 kobo per share on the 29th of September 2017. Q1 2016 results for the fund show revenue dropped from N46.8 billion in 2015 to N51.2 billion in 2016. Profit before tax also dropped from N40 billion in 2015 to N35.3 billion in 2016. Sterling Registrars Limited are registrars to the fund.
Skye Shelter Fund is a close ended Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) scheme. A REIT is a company that owns or invests in real estate.

Guinness Nigeria Plc

Guinness Nigeria Plc will be closing its shareholders register from the 25th-29th of September 2017. Results for the 12 months ended June 2017 show revenue increased from N101 billion in 2016 to N125 billion in 2017. The company made a profit before tax of N2.6 billion from a loss of N2.3 billion in 2016. Veritas Registrars Limited is the company’s registrar.

McNichols Consolidated Plc

McNichols Consolidated Plc will be having her AGM on the 28th of September 2017. United Securities Limited is the registrar to the company. McNichols Plc is involved in the production and distribution of sugar, custard and other food products. Half Year 2017 results for the company show Revenue fell from N554 million in 2016 to N470 million in 2017. Profit Before Tax fell from N42.5 million in 2016 to N18.5 million in 2017.
