May 29, 2017 marks two years since President Buhari assumed power as the leader of the world’s most populous black nation and Africa’s largest economy. Having taken over during a perilous time in the nation’s economic history, a lot was expected of this government and tens of millions of Nigerians were hopeful that change, which was promised, had indeed arrived.

The Buhari presidency and its supporters will have you believe that there has been a lot of progress and that the change that they promised did indeed occur.
The current administration now led by Acting President Prof. Yemi Osinbajo issued a mid-term report covering, security, corruption and economy, the three main policy thrust of the government. As promised, Nairametrics has reviewed the economic aspect of the factsheet and presents a blow-by-blow scorecard of every single item classified as either achieved, in progress or in continuity by the government.
