The House of Representatives has accused the Pipelines and Products Marketing Company (PPMC) authorities of engaging in actions that subvert due process, thereby causing financial deficit in revenue that should accrue to the Consolidated Revenue Fund.
It accused the PPMC of programming oil companies to lift petroleum products without bulk purchase agreements, while refusing to programme companies with paid off invoices.
It therefore directed its Committee on Petroleum (Downstream) to investigate the management of PPMC for illegal transactions.
