- The Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR) has assured the public of adequate and continuous supply of petrol before and during Sallah period.
- A report by the News Agency of Nigeria noted that the Zonal Spokesperson of DPR, Abuja, Mohammed Saidu, said that 6.5 million litres (197 trucks) of petrol was supplied on Wednesday to Abuja to ease off the fuel queue in the city.
“About 6,543,090 litres of PMS representing 197 trucks of PMS was supplied to FCT on Wednesday on July 15,” he said.
- While assuring the public of adequate and continuous supply of the product ahead of the Sallah break, he cautioned motorists against panic buying and stockpiling of the product.
