Quoted companies post dividend to their shareholders on a pre announced date following the approval of their shareholders. To get these dividends on time it is often advised to get registered on the e-dividend platform. E-dividend means the dividend will be credited to your account almost on the same day it was scheduled to be paid by the company.

However, if you do not have an e-dividend account dividend warrants will be posted to your registered address. Dividend warrants have are like cheques and can be paid into your bank accounts. Dividend warrants also have an expiry period of 6 months following which you may have to revalidate it before it clears. The following stocks will pay dividends this week.
