Stocks Round Up (31/7/2014): 7up Hits 1 Year High As Evans Medical Continues To Pop

Seven Up released its 2014 H1 results showing pre-tax profits rose 50%. This result drove the share up 7% at end of closing today 31/7/2014. The share price opened at N103 before rising to a year high N107 and remaining there till the end of the day. AG Leventis followed with a 5% rise to close at N1.47 followed strongly by Evans Medical at 4.63%. Evans medical has now gained 9% in two days of trading this week alone and is looking to close amongst the best performing stocks for the week. Evans Medical has neither release its 2013 Audited accounts nor has it released any results this year. Its last 9 months result was a loss of N401million.

Red Star Express topped the losers chart following earnings drop for the first half of the year. The stock lost 5%! Diamond Bank joined the losers chart after it announced rights issue with a price of N5.8. Below is the list of top 5 gainers and losers for the day.
