Aganga Watch: Samsung to Open Television Manufacturing Plant in Durban, South Africa

CNBC Africa reports Samsung Electronics will open a television manufacturing plant in Durban, South Africa by the end of 2014.

“This project is the result of close collaboration between Samsung and the South African authorities – at national and provincial level,” said Samsung Electronics South Africa deputy managing director, Matthew Thackrah.

According to the company, with a total investment of 20 million US dollars until 2018, the plan demonstrates Samsung’s effort to satisfy its customers in South Africa.
