Back in December we released our Xmas shopping list for stock that we wish to own to for the Xmas holiday. Our list included the likes of Continental ReInsurance, Nascon, Zenith Bank, African Prudential and Beta Glass. Well its barely over a month and we decided to find out how these stocks are doing in terms of price

Its important to note that the likes of Zenith Bank and Continental Reinsurance have been hit by the ongoing in the financial services sector. However, this is just about 6 weeks and we by no means present this as success. A portfolio is times tested when it continues to grow organically in value over years and not in weeks. In fact, the likes of Zenith Bank or Cont.Insure may well go below the Dec price if the financial sector continues to feel sell pressure. Nonetheless, it’s good to gloat once in a while when things start to go right.
