Seven weeks into Mobile Number Portability (MNP) implementation, Etisalat Nigeria yesterday claimed it has taken a huge lead with almost 50 per cent of ported numbers coming its way.
Although, the telecommunications regulator, Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) is yet to officially give updates on ported numbers, telecom operators agree that the impact of numbers ported would not significantly affect the numbers of subscribers moving from one network to another.
