Refer to my jobs story… I remember culling the picture from 234next and it says “over 60,000 job applicants” were at the National Stadium applying for a job at the NDLEA.
On a second thought, over 60,000 people??!!. What’s the capacity of the National Stadium? Last check was 55,000. So how looking back at that picture, the students were at a section of the stadium (here I’m assuming the stadium wasn’t full) which off course cannot be close to 60,000.
Not to diminish the point of the story, which was about extorting money from hapless unemployed. But then why do we like to distort the facts just to be heard. Imagine if the story was 20,000 or 5,000? Would it had made headlines? So is the N90m fee then correct? I think not!!
