The federal executive council (FEC) has announced the approval of 2,000 tractors, 4,000 disc plough, 1,200 tractor trailers among other equipment under the National Agricultural Mechanization Programme (NAMP) to promote food security in Nigeria.
As part of its efforts to boost food production in the country, the Federal Government has disclosed that it targets local production of 2,000 tractors annually.
