The Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC) has issued a stern warning to participants in the food chain sector, cautioning against arbitrary increases in food prices.
FCCPC will tackle anti-competitive conduct by markets association which now operate as a cartel.
Nigerians have been hit with a further hike in the prices of food items such as flour, groundnut oil, pepper, tomatoes, noodles amongst others.
