Freight services have resumed on the old Lagos-Kano narrow gauge railway line after the completion of its rehabilitation.
The Nigerian Shippers’ Council (NSC) has listed lack of funds and availability of land as major factors affecting the takeoff of Inland Dry Ports across the country.
The Dala Inland Dry Port will cost $27 million and would be fully completed in December.
The Government of Kano State has announced the readiness of its Dala Inland Dry Port project.
