The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) announced that it will temporarily suspend the online Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) application process in Lagos to give room for all registrants to check for appropriateness or otherwise of their information supplied during the registration.

This was disclosed in a statement by INEC on Monday, in Lagos, in a bid to evaluate the process so far in the state.

INEC added that the process, which also involves biometric registration would be suspended from Tuesday, September 21, 2021.

“The exercise, based on the approved timelines and schedule, will start on September 24 and end on September 30 2021,” INEC said.

“The temporary CVR stoppage is to give room for all registrants to check for appropriateness or otherwise of their information supplied during the registration.

“The 7-day long activities are also to raise objections (if any) about names that are not supposed to be on the register, like names of dead persons, foreigners and Nigerians below the age of 18.

“The Commission will also use the period for other necessary housekeeping (backend) activities in preparation for the next quarter,” they added.

INEC stated that the names of all approved registrants will also be displayed publicly at the local government INEC offices in all the 20 Local Government Areas of Lagos state, urging the support of the masses with information gathering.

What you should know

Recall Nairametrics reported earlier this month that The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) revealed that the introduction of the INEC Voter Enrolment Device (IVED) will eliminate acts of fraud with Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs), making Nigeria’s electoral process more efficient.

INEC revealed the IVED system will be the new voter verification device, adding that despite the ongoing voter registration process, the commission is working round the clock to improve service delivery and credible voter accreditation during elections in Nigeria.

Fraudulent Electoral Structure of fulani caliphate called Nigeria said anyone who wants to be president must win 2/3 of the states which is 24 states. Because fulani criminals from Guinea used 1804 fulani caliphate with its emirates to control the 19 states of the north. By so doing, decides who’s the president, governors, NASS members etc. and must implement policies of fulani caliphate. Policies of fulani caliphate which is to make this territory natives poor and keep them under fulani rulership.

We this territory natives which owns the land have defeated fulani caliphate called Nigeria in which the six geopolitical zones are sovereign states.

Natives of the six geopolitical zones must establish interim governments of their sovereign states now with military, police etc. to defend territorial borders of their sovereign states, fix their lands, economies. Only the Sword decides.
