In 2023 the Nigerian economy will be exposed to risks including an emerging market debt crisis, rising inflation and higher interest rates, and uncertainties around OPEC strategy. On the domestic front, some key issues such as the anticipated change in government, the rising fiscal deficit and the management of key prices particularly interest rates and exchange rates will significantly impact the economy.
