Buy, Sell and Save Bitcoin

On Muna, anyone can buy and sell Bitcoin as low as $10. Also, users can create Bitcoin savings plans to allow them to save Bitcoin over periods of 1, 3, 6 months and 1 year. Users can send and receive Bitcoin to fellow Muna users for FREE, with the possibility to receive Bitcoin from external exchanges and Wallets.

Buy, Sell and Save USDN, Earn Daily Interest

USDN is a stable coin like USDT but backed with Waves. USDN is pegged to the US Dollar, that means 1 USDN = 1$. Muna offers users the opportunity to Save in USDN and earn interest daily paid directly to their USDN wallet, with the ability to deposit and withdraw your funds anytime.

Buy, Sell and Stake WAVES, Earn Daily interest

WAVES is the native coin on Waves Protocol, a decentralized smart contract blockchain like Ethereum but its a Proof of Stake (POS) blockchain. Muna allows anyone to buy, sell and stake their WAVES to nodes on the platform and earn daily interest from block mining.

We introduced the locked plans to promote more disciplined savings and better holding strategy for anyone with interest to hold Bitcoin over longer periods.

Savers can lock their funds for up to 1, 3, 6 months and 1 year while they continue topping up balance.

In a bid to discourage users from withdrawing their staking until its maturity date, we implemented a strict 3% default fee for early withdrawals before due dates. The flexible plan comes with no rules and default fees. You can save and withdraw at any time.

Send and receive payments through usernames

Users on the Muna app can send and receive funds from each other via usernames, taking away the complexities of long human unreadable crypto addresses. With this feature, Muna seeks to enable intra-African remittance amongs its users in its roadmap.

Funding Your Muna Wallet

There are different ways to fund your wallet.

  1. Users can deposit Bitcoin, USDN or Waves from external wallets or exchanges.
  2. Buy USDN directly from your bank on the app and swap it to Bitcoin or Waves at market rates.
  3. Users can also purchase voucher pins from a third party gifty.cash and load the gifty pins to redeem the equivalent

PS: you can swap any currency on Muna to another at any time.
