UBA Plc releases 9M 2018 results

UBA Plc has released its results for the nine months ended September 2018. Here are highlights of the results.

Interest income increased from N238 billion in 2017 to N268 billion in 2018. This marks a 12.6% increase year on year.

Profit before tax increased from N78.3 billion in 2017 to N79.1 billion in 2018. This marks a 1.02% year on year.

Profit after tax increased from N60.9 billion in 2017 to N61.6 billion in 2018. This marks a 1.14% increase year on year.

Earnings Per Share

Earnings Per Share dipped slightly from N1.74 to N1.72. This represents a 1.14% drop from the comparative period in 2017.
