The 18-floor structure is planned on Alfred Rewane Road, Ikoyi. Upon completion, it will join the league of signature towers and skyscrapers in West Africa.

Progress on the mega project has been obscured from media attention; an official of the Dangote group noted. The initial process was stalled due to litigation, however, constructions have resumed.

The project will pass through the finest architectural routine for 24 months to produce an enviable powerhouse ascribed to the Dangote group.

The group, whose industrial tentacle span across various sectors including cement, sugar, salt, condiments, flour, energy, fertilizer etc, records positive financial returns on yearly basis. In 2017, the conglomerate closed its book to the tune of  ₦1.1 trillion. Most recently, Dangote Cement Plc revenue up 16% to ₦242 billion. The group stands out as the largest conglomerate in West Africa; its headquarters fitted in a shared space on Alfred Rewane Road, formerly Kingsway Road, Ikoyi.

The development to switch to a permeant location is long due and could be the major reason for isolating the progress pace of the project.
