Success is definitely a skill that can be learned, and even with the ongoing recession, you don’t have to spend less, you can make more! Adding extra money to your current income is easier with several online marketplaces in Nigeria.  Below are 3 basic ideas that you can surround yourself with.

  1. Retailing/Third Party Selling :Most items sold on online marketplaces are sold by retailers. You can acquire items from supplying firms or other sellers to sell online to shoppers. Most of these online marketplaces help to fulfill all orders, including storage, picking, packing, and shipping. This way, your items will be eligible for fast shipping trips.
  2. Join their Affiliate Program: Several online marketplaces offer affiliate programs where you make money by referring people to their site. For example, on Jumiamarket, anyone who owns a social media platform, blog or website can join their affiliate program. Basically, you include links on your page or social media platforms that will direct customers to Jumia Market product pages. If customers use a link on your page and buy something in a qualifying, you can earn up to N700 in every sale. You can do your part to earn more money by giving people an incentive to click on the links.
  3. Sell Hand-Made Items: Online marketplaces are not only platforms for purchase new items? Presently, you will find several online marketplaces promoting handmade items. Here, you can sell your handmade things to online shoppers. Regardless of the type of craft you are into, as long as you make it, you can sell it online.
