Nigerian stocks closed on a negative today as the All Share Index (ASI) declined by 0.53% to close at 25,755.01. This was the first slide in a week, as the stock exchange had been on the rise the whole of last week driven by impressive numbers and corporate action announcements.

UBN opened at N5.60 and closed at N5.98 gaining N0.38(6.79%)

HONYFLOUR opened at N1.44 and closed at N1.51 gaining N0.07(4.86%)

Here are the top losers for the day;

UCAP opened at N1.68 and closed at N1.60 losing N0.08(4.76%)

NPFMCRFBK opened at N1.12 and closed at N1.07 losing N0.05(4.46%)

DANGCEM opened at N168.00 and closed at N163.12 losing N4.88(2.90%)

NEM opened at N0.75 and closed at N0.73 losing N0.02(2.67%)

STERLINGBANK opened at N1.75 and closed at N1.71 losing N0.04(2.29%)
