Business Man and “Oil Magnate” Ifeanyi Ubah has claimed victory for the current rise in the value of the dollar against the naira. He was on Channels Tv over the weekend asserting that he knew the solution to the dollar crisis and if given the opportunity that he could fix it.
According to him if made a consultant, he would bring the value of the naira down to N200 to the dollar in 30 days. He said he has “four cardinal points for bringing the naira back down to N200 to $1.
Coincidentally or not the naira did rise astronomically against the dollar a situation that has taken a lot of Nigerians by storm. Ifeanyin Ubah has now claimed responsibility saying “Since my appearance and statement on Sunday night on Channels TV, dollar has crashed from N400 to $1 to N370 to $1.”
He has since asked to be made “Federal Government Consultant on Financial Stability”. We think not!. He should instead be made CBN Governor.
NB: Nairametrics does not believe the rise in the value of the naira was fully attributable to him.
