Nigeria will understudy the job creation scheme of the People’s Republic of China to solve unemployment.
Minister of Science and Technology Ogbonnaya Onu made this statement at a meeting with China’s Ambassador to Nigeria, Mr Gu Xiaojie.
Onu said Nigeria was interested in achievements of China regarding the many innovations driving its economy.
“We want to fight poverty as you have done to make sure that all those who want to work have something to do and we believe that this visit will help in that process.
One of which is the level of job creation which you are able to do with your population of about 1.4 billion people.
We want to assure you that we will collaborate with you to further our mutual benefits particularly in space technology development”, the minister said.
