- President Buhari has ordered Federal Ministries, Departments and Agencies to pay outstanding salaries and allowances of all public service employees who are being owed within 7 days.
- The payment directive was contained in a circular with reference number HCSF/428/S.1/128 dated September 14, 2015, released from the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Mr. Danladi Kifasi, and made available to the press on Tuesday in Abuja by the Association of Senior Civil Servants of Nigeria.
- In the circular, President Buhari emphasised the urgent need to compile the names of those being owed so as to pay them immediately.
“The correct information should reach the Office of the Head of Civil Service of the Federation on or before Monday, September 21 2015,” the circular stated.
