- The Kaduna State Government yesterday announced its decision to close down its multiple bank accounts in commercial bank to enable it to commence the implementation of the Treasury Single Account (TSA) framework by September 1, 2015.
- They said that all banks that maintain the accounts of the government have been put on notice to close them and remit the balances to the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) which will host the state’s TSA.
- A statement signed by the special assistant to the governor on media and publicity, Samuel Aruwan, disclosed that the state Governor, Malam Nasir El-Rufai, gave the directive at a meeting with officials of all the banks hosting the state government’s many revenue and expenditure accounts.
I am not convinced.is the this el-rufai that was a minister of federal capital territory,is the governor of kaduna state now ?,who was sanctioned by the senate, for awarding plots of land in Abuja to members of his family ?,even his wives, and the I.N.E.C should have been barred him from contesting any elections because he have un-finished issues to answer.if mr rufai is innocent,he should go to court.THINGS ARE SO EASY IN NIGERIA. THOSE WHO HAVE NOTHING ARE CLAIMING GREATNESS IN NIGERIA,it only happens in Nigeria, where they reward failure.no wonder for more than 13 yrs, nigerian govt cannot totally destroy boko haram on it’s modes, causes, means, strategy and operations.one wonders how a Nigerian gets to be a Nigerian General is too brutal to his citizens, and became Nigerian head of state.
