According to the company, its investment in 7000km Submarine Cable from Europe to West Africa is changing the face of internet in West Africa.
Speaking at a press conference to mark its 5th anniversary in Lagos, the Chief Executive Officer, Ms. Funke Opeke said MainOne network is interconnected to the leading global Tier 1 operators responsible for 70% of the world’s internet traffic ensuring quick response times for access to sites anywhere in the world.
She explained that that the network peers internet exchanges in Nigeria, Ghana, London, Amsterdam with direct interconnection to companies such as Facebook, Amazon, Apple and others which has vastly improved the quality of browsing experience on network.
