Following the fresh demand for outstanding subsidy payments by depot, the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) has confirmed the arrival of vessels with petroleum products.
The Executive secretary of DAPPMA, Femi Adewole earlier this week,said, Major Marketers have backed out from the import arrangement following non settlement of the debt.
However, the NPA informed that 26 ships loaded with petroleum products, food items and other commodities would be arriving Lagos sea ports this week.
The NPA in its publication, ”Daily Shipping Position,” disclosed that the expected ships contained petrol, kerosene, diesel, containers, general cargo, fish, bulk gypsum and bulk wheat.
