The company reported gross premium income of N9.8 billion, up from N7.7 billion. Profit before tax grew by 80 per cent from N1.5 billion to N2.7 billion, while profit after tax grew by 102 per cent from N1.12 billion to N2.27 billion.
Following the improved performance, the Board of Directors has recommended the payment of an interim dividend of six kobo on every 50 kobo ordinary share of the company to shareholders on record as at the close of business on August 8, 2014.
