Get Set For 35kobo Dividend (10% Yield) If You Own Africa Prudential Registrars Shares

Foremost Registrars, Africa Prudential PCL has proposed a 35kobo dividend as contained in a board resolution featured on the website of the company. The board meeting was held on February 13, 2014 and these is an extract of the resolutions passed by the directors;
1. APPROVAL OF 2013 AUDITED ACCOUNTS
The Board gave its approval to the Audited 2013 Full year accounts of the Company. The Board further authorised the Chairman, The Managing Director and the Chief Finance Officer to sign the accounts on behalf of the Board.
2. DIVIDEND
The Board recommended a total dividend of N700,000,000.00 (Seven Hundred Million Naira) that is N0.35kobo per share. If approved, the payment of the dividend will be made on Friday, April 4, 2014 to Shareholders whose names appear on the Company’s Register of Members at the close of business on Friday, March 14, 2014.
3. DATE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING The Board authorised the Company to hold its First Annual General Meeting on Thursday, April 3, 2014.

The Register of Members and Transfer Books of the Compan from March 17- 21, 2014 both days inclusive for the purpose of updating our Register of Members.

Therefore, to own enjoy part of the dividend declared (when approved) you must own the shares before March 17th 2014. But be rest assured the share price will climb.

Note: This was also a stock we put in our Xmas wish list back in December and at that time the price was N2.43
