Fortis Mobile Money has entered into partnership with leading integrated transport and logistics company, ABC Transport Plc, to deploy mobile money for paying and processing tickets.
With the flag off of the scheme last week, travellers can now book and pay for their bus tickets using the Fortis Mobile Money platform from their mobile phones.
Speaking at the flag off of the scheme, Group Head, E-Business for Fortis Mobile Money, Mr Stanley Jacobs, revealed that the deployment of this scheme brings the much needed convenience for road travellers, as passengers can now make bookings and pay for all ABC routes using their mobile phones and upon payment, passengers can check-in at the designated ABC terminals across Nigeria and West Africa to board their bus.
