A Chinese mining , Unicontinental International Engineering Company Limited has signed a multi-million dollar joint venture agreement with Multiverse Plc to commence work on new mining projects in the country.
Speaking after the signing event at in Lagos, Chairman, Unicontinental International Engineering Company Limited, Mr Alex Wang, said the company plans to build quarries that will supply granite and minerals to support infrastructure projects across the country.
He said his company will also extend mining exploration to other states of the country, adding that the project will allow both partners to supply high quality variety of products to the market.
Mr Wang said the company will establish new mining sites and production facilities using modern exploration techniques and deploying capital.
