Starcomms Plc has annouced the appointment of Olusola Oladokun as Interim Chief Executive taking over from Logan Pather. Pather had been in the position for about 12 months a period that has not helped the company improve its fortunes. Mr Oladokun was hitherto the Finance Director and will oversee the affiars of the company pending when his appointment is confirmed.
Starcomms is thought to be the second in terms of CDMA subscribers with 1,083,498 as at July 2012 and first in fixed wireless with 422.822. I wish him the best of luck as the company strives to change its fortunes which I must say have been tumultuous for shareholders.
