Remember SGBN, Societe Generale Bank Nigeria? Well just read that they are now back as Heritage Bank. I learnt the Saraki’s, owners of the defunct SGBN, own 10% of the new Bank. I hear the major the Vice Chairman of International Energy Insurance Ifie Sekibo is a major shareholder in the new bank. Lets hope this will pave the way for Savannah bank who also saw their closure overturned by the courts some years back.
By the way, Heritage Bank has a share capital of N10b making them a Regional Bank
