Dow futures gained about 180 points. S&P 500 futures and Nasdaq 100 futures gained 0.55% and 0.45%, respectively.
Futures contracts on the S&P 500 Index plunged by 1.4% at the time this report.
Apple gained 3.99% to bring its market cap back to $2 trillion after its shares closed at $117.32.
