The Federal Government has announced plans to receive the first batch of 3.205 million electricity meters in April 2025, as part of efforts to bridge the metering gap in the country.
The Eko Electricity Distribution Company (EKEDC) has announced its plan to install meters for approximately 355,000 customers over the next five years.
Deployment has already started in parts of Kano, Kaduna, Lagos, and Abuja among others.
