- Mr Ndegwa before this appointment was former CEO Guinness Ghana
- Guinness has earlier in the year announced that it CEO Mr John O’Keefe will be leaving just 6 months after appointment having been promoted President, Diageo Africa.
- Guinness also announced the appointment of Mr. Soren Lauridsen as Mr. O’Keeffe’s successor However, Laurisden declined the offer for “personal, family related reasons”.
