This is a classic case of the enemy within. A 99 year old man who is the son of one of the founders of Salomon brothers (now part of Citibank) has sued Citigroup for providing a secretary (Karen Febles) who swindled him of $1.3m.
She had earlier been convicted by a Federal court in Newark, New Jersey. She spent the money on cars, real estate, cruises and jewelry.
